Little Bear von Cheviot is an adorable shepherd mix who looks like a little bear! He is between 10 to 12 weeks old. He was found by a Good Sam and brought to the rescue for help. Little Bear is a special needs puppy for now at least, he has seen a specialist and most likely his issues are neurological, not signs of any trauma.  He takes one or two steps then falls to the side and then gets back up again and off he goes.   He has no pain associated with his limitations.  It doesn’t seem to bother him, he struggles to go up a few stairs to go in and out of the house but he does it on his own. Right now he is not on meds, just watching him and letting Little Bear exercise as much as he wants. He is a happy fellow, and doesn’t let his handicap stop him. In three weeks he has a recheck with the neurologist. We are looking for a home for Little Bear who is ready to adopt a less than perfect baby! Little Bear has one request, he would like a sweet doggy friend in his new home!
